Thanks, y'all!
it's Tuesday. Yay, we're so glad you're here today, because everybody needs a little. Pick me up on Tuesday.
Speaker 2:Tuesday. We specifically chose Tuesday because Tuesday is kind of a lousy day yeah, is there any day that's really a great day. Oh yeah, yeah, okay. So I don't mind Mondays too much, because I like my job. I don't like Monday morning, right like, because I like my job, I don't like Monday morning right Like oh, I got to get up and go.
Speaker 1:No, getting up on Monday, but like starting the week.
Speaker 2:It's always fun to see the kids Like I don't mind Mondays too much and of course, everybody loves Friday. Yeah, that's fair. Okay, on Thursdays, my family goes out for a beer, so it's pretty great in our house for a beer. So it's pretty great in our house. Yeah, that works.
Speaker 1:But tuesday, like nobody celebrates tuesday, like there's nothing special about tuesday. That's true. Did you know that in schools, statistically speaking, the highest day for referrals as in like kids being sent to the office is thursday? Because people are so tired of the week that they're just over it by thursday and then on fr, even though the behavior tends to be worse, people are in a better mood.
Speaker 2:So they tolerate it better. That is so interesting.
Speaker 1:Wild right Anyway welcome.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, sorry, let's, let's do our show.
Speaker 1:Welcome to how to be a grownup. This is the show that teaches you the things that grownups need to know and this episode speaking of starting things off on the right foot. This episode is all about starting your day off on the right foot, but with realistic and normal human things that you actually have time for and not like I spend 45 minutes journaling and then I sketch the sunset or sunrise, whatever it's not stuff like that right because nobody can handle that.
Speaker 2:So but first, okay, I'm gonna introduce my partner and it's gonna be a little pg-13. Oh, we can call her the snooze button, because I'd hit that yes.
Speaker 1:Oh, that is my favorite one of all time. Oh, I played with that. I was like, can I go there?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I can. Yes, of course, you can, of course you can.
Speaker 1:That's Jenny. She's my vibrant blooming orchid and I adore her, and that's high maintenance, though, sorry you're not high maintenance.
Speaker 2:No, it's okay. Um, I was talking to someone just this week who, like, does orchids, like for real, and she's like oh yeah, you know, I just I keep them in my shower so that they get the steam that they need, and then I just rotate them in and out and I was like, yeah, no, um, I can't grow grass, so right.
Speaker 1:I killed my cactus, so I multiple cacti.
Speaker 2:Yeah, oh, it's too bad, because I really do love the only cactus I ever kept alive was one that a friend gave me and I put it in my hydroponic thing. Oh yeah, and it grew in the hydroponics and then it died Too much moisture, but no, it got huge.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, Mine got really big.
Speaker 2:And then it just like. I guess it like couldn't sustain, I don't know, but it just died. And then I was like, wow, I killed my friendship cactus. It's like our love fern.
Speaker 1:I know I did that too, you let it die Okay, let it die, okay. So today again, talking about starting things off on the right foot. Hopefully our banter has helped you have a few laughs this morning. I full disclosure. I think a lot of the times, these topics that we choose come from things we want to learn ourselves, and we've talked about New Year's resolutions on our show. We've talked about self-care on our show. So these are things that I don't particularly enjoy because I think they set unrealistic expectations and there is a literal national like holiday of, like resolution quitting day, so I think that it's unrealistic to expect those from yourself.
Speaker 2:I have a friend who said that the bakery in her small town closes until January 7th when all the resolution dieters are done.
Speaker 1:That's amazing. I love that. It's smart.
Speaker 2:Sure, like it's probably that they have a very busy Christmas season and then they take a week off in January. But the idea that that's what the sign says is hilarious. That's really good.
Speaker 1:So I was on Reddit because, of course, right, and I love the self-care thread because it's really. There's just always such great ideas in there and none of them are, like you know, weird and unrealistic. So the OP on this is new coffee, 8836. But the thing that they talked about was things you do in the morning to set the tone for a good day, and I loved that because I think that that is in line with intentions. And a spare five minutes, a spare 15 minutes or 30 or 45 or more, okay, okay, so let's start with it. If you have five minutes, I always like to start my day personally with a greeting from my person or a greeting to my person, right? So if you can get a little hug in the morning, do that. It feels good. We know that hugs are scientifically proven to help you have a better day. Yes, right, so do that. Greet your pet and let your pet out Go potty. It's a good way to start your day on the right foot. If you have medication, put them near where you get ready for the morning so that you take your meds. This was one of my favorite ones from the whole Reddit thread.
Speaker 1:This poster called Hidden Curl wrote. I drink a good glass of water in complete silence. Brush your teeth. Yes, we brush at night to keep our teeth. We brush in the morning to keep our friends. We splash some water on your face.
Speaker 1:I have this um, it's like an aerosol not aerosol, but it's. It feels like aerosol spray and it's a veen thermal spring water spray. It's not expensive, it takes two seconds to like spray this on your face and it feels so luxurious to do it this way instead of just like. I hate splashing water on my face because I hate when the water runs down my arms. It's just like a sensory thing. It drives me crazy.
Speaker 1:So that's a way to like treat myself. If I have five spare minutes, I love it, and then just take a step back and take a few deep breaths in through your nose, out through your mouth, try square breathing, where you hold for four seconds and then let it out. It's, it does really make a big difference for calming yourself down for the day. Okay, okay, if you have 15 spare minutes, include all the above, right, because those are pretty much the basics if you have five minutes, but I saw some really nice ones that I liked. Morning affirmations, even if it's just like thank you for letting me wake up, and today will be a good day. That's all you have to do. It doesn't have to be anything more than that, or you know.
Speaker 2:I can do hard, good enough is good enough.
Speaker 1:Right, good enough is good enough. I can do hard things something like that right um open the blinds or the curtains.
Speaker 2:Okay, I love this one, yeah, and I wake up first in my family due to the nature of my job. Employment, yes, um, I have to be at school before the kids, which you know, makes sense that the administrators would be there before the children and then also, most of the time, also before the teachers. There are some teachers who come in very early, but for the most part I'm before all the teachers do. So I can't open the blinds or the curtains in the mornings on weekdays, right, but on weekends I love opening the blinds and letting the sunlight in. It completely changes how I feel.
Speaker 1:Yes, it's a big deal. And if so, if you have the option to open even if it's in a different room, where you can get some natural light in the morning, even if it's still dark when you wake up just that a little bit of real lighting is so nice. It feels really luxurious to do that too. Another one I saw and I do this, or my husband does this every day which is make the bed. It sounds really weird, but it does give you an early sense of accomplishment. You're like at least I did that right.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it gives you a nice place to come home to too. Exactly.
Speaker 1:There is that nice piece of it. It makes the room look more pulled together always and I like to do this while I'm still in it, which I realize sounds counterintuitive. But if you just get in the middle of the bed and then pull everything up and then kind of arrange the side that you are going to not get out on, and then when you get out, it's just mostly done. All I have to do is throw some pillows on the bed, that's nice. Yeah, have an easy breakfast. This could be. Grab a protein bar or a protein shake or the left, the remnants of your child's toast, whatever it needs to be, just put something in your stomach. I'm an intermittent faster so I don't always do this, but I do a big, big glass of water and it helps with me being hungry in the morning.
Speaker 2:I'm really bad at that.
Speaker 1:It's not easy.
Speaker 2:My breakfast every day is two cups of coffee.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it happens, but if you can, I normally eat around like 10 o'clock.
Speaker 2:I'm like, oh, I'm kind of hungry.
Speaker 1:Oh, that's because all I put in the last five hours is coffee, exactly. Yeah, get your daily to-do list together. That's a nice one. I personally am not a morning to-do list person. It does not work for me. I recommend doing this before you leave work or before you walk away from your desk or end work for the day, so you don't forget stuff.
Speaker 1:I have a notebook next to my desk. I go through it, I write down all the things that haven't gotten done or I update myself on the status. Even though my company has a digital task management system, it just helps me to have the paper one so that I see the work, and it also helps me keep track of the work between the work which sounds kind of weird to say, but there's always work between the work, right? I also am someone who keeps sticky notes in as many places as possible, so that when an idea comes to me, I have an option to write it down, and then I will go stick it on my keyboard right, so that it's in a place I have to look at it, and then I move that sticky note onto that notebook page and it stays there, and then I have to write it on the notebook page later.
Speaker 2:I have started texting myself because there's a commercial where the guy's like, why are you texting yourself? And or like it's him answering himself. And he's like, oh, because I have an idea and I want to remember it. And they're making fun of that. Yeah, because they are selling some kind of organizational tool which, of course, like I, would buy and then not use. So I've just been texting myself and putting it on unread and I'm like, oh, I got a message, oh, it's me.
Speaker 2:Oh it's me, hi, leslie. It was reminding me to pick up something.
Speaker 1:You're doing great. I love you. Bye, yeah, okay, so that's if you have 15 minutes, if you have 30 minutes, this is not 30 minutes to get ready, this is 30 minutes to spare. I want to make that very clear. This one was one of my favorites. A five-minute stretch they said stretching, I said. Five-minute stretch. Yeah, listen to a loved podcast or playlist Moments of meditation or prayer or gratitude, whatever that looks like for you. This one was smart. Take dinner out of the freezer, defrost your protein if that's what you're going to do. This one I thought was awesome Dingle Bear. I don't even want to talk about that name, dingle Bear. I like to lay out my comfy clothes that I'm going to put on at the end of the day in a nice way. Something about choosing the items and visually seeing the clothes laid out gives me something to look forward to and work towards during the day.
Speaker 2:Okay, that is amazing.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 2:I love that.
Speaker 1:So now that I work from home, I don't necessarily need to put out comfy clothes for the end of the day.
Speaker 2:But even just like throwing your bathrobe on the bed, right you?
Speaker 1:get it Right. Exactly that's actually what I've been doing is making sure my robe is like in plain view, so that I'm like, oh my gosh, Pretty soon I get to put on that robe, it's going to be so great. Okay, If you have 45 minutes or more to spare exercise Cannot emphasize this enough. Something about getting it done in the morning before you go and do other things feels really good. Now, I hate waking up early, but I will wake up early to go for my walk. You know I do this. I get up at like five so that I can get up, go on my walk and then come back and then I do the other things. It just it's crazy, but it it feels so much better to start my day that way. Yeah, Tidy or clean. One small thing Unload the dishwasher so you don't have to do it tonight when you get home.
Speaker 1:Start or move a load of laundry. I am notorious for starting a load of laundry at night and then people tell you like it's okay to leave clothes in the dryer overnight they're not going to get bacteria overnight and then just move them into the dryer in the morning. What I really like to do is have them moved into the dryer the night before and then I kind of tumble them for like 10 or 15 minutes just to get the wrinkles out, and then I like to have my husband fold the laundry and then I can do. If the dryer is empty, I'm more likely to start another load. I don't know what it is, but I, just I. If the dryer has stuff in it, I'm like no, forget it. I'm not doing it right now. It's the completion of the task. I hate it. Forget it. I'm not doing it right now. It's the completion of the task. I hate it. Okay, Enjoy a shower, Not take a shower. Enjoy a shower An extra five minutes in the shower. That might feel really good if you have an extra 45 minutes, Okay.
Speaker 2:Now, if you're 13, how many 13 year olds are listening to this?
Speaker 1:Do you need the extra 45 minutes? Or because I'm not convinced that abby has extra time? No man, she enjoys a shower. Okay, this is tips for adults. I don't know how many 13 year olds are listening to this, but but if you are listening, take a shorter shower, abigail. So like every once in a while, just just just like turn it off an extra three minutes early.
Speaker 2:Take a 35 minute shower every day.
Speaker 1:That's not just my eight year old likes to do stuff like that too, and I will like peek in and I'm like, are you washing? And he's like, yeah, nine times out of 10, he's sitting on the floor just like feeling the hot water. Yep, um, I liked this one. Oh wait, let me hold on. Let me go back to this shower thing. What I mean by enjoy a shower?
Speaker 1:do something like put like a shower steamer in there like those, just something else that makes it feel a little bit more. I like the word luxurious. Today we're using that word. Okay, Okay, this one from Automatic Parsley 833. The names that come up. I know people just like let Reddit generate the names, but they're just ridiculous. Savor my beverage of choice while journaling Now.
Speaker 2:I want to go back to the name thing, because this is not automatic parsley, it's automatic parsley 833. Does that mean that there's 832 other automatic parsnips?
Speaker 1:There very well could be, I don't know.
Speaker 2:Okay, sorry, all right, I'm just thinking.
Speaker 1:Yeah. So here's the thing that bothers me about this. I am a terrible journaler because I don't know what I'm supposed to write about and I need a prompt, and the same prompts, over and over and, over and over and over again, get really boring for me and then I just lose interest. So I would need some other way to manage this. I do like the savor, my beverage of choice, because the number of people who have told me that they will get up an extra 15 minutes early just to sit and have their coffee in the quiet, where they just stare at the wall and drink their coffee and love it, is an infinity loop.
Speaker 2:Like everyone, talks about doing that. So this is what I do. I wake up at enough time for me to go downstairs and we have the automatic coffee pot. Go downstairs, I pour myself a cup in a mug. I drink my coffee from the mug on the couch alone While it's hot. While it's hot, and then when I'm driving to work, I have it in a travel tumbler and that's my second cup. So what I said, I've had two cups of coffee for breakfast. That's pretty much it, but I always have or I try to always have one cup by myself. It takes about five minutes to just sit there and drink it quietly on my own. Nobody's awake yet.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I love that. Something about the alone piece is just really, to me, the best part of that, right, okay, so those are some tips that are time related. Here are some other things that I took from the list and added to myself that might help you start your day off on the right foot. Lots of people recommended listening to music or podcasts. Um, I, if you're a music person and not a podcast person, I highly recommend creating playlists that are the same length as the amount of time that you have to spare, or otherwise. Right, oh, that's cool. So if you know that when this certain song comes on, you've got five minutes left, like that, that really is helpful.
Speaker 2:I mean, that's what like people who lead exercise classes do. Yes, exactly Like they know when this song comes on, it's time to start cooling down, or whatever.
Speaker 1:Yep, exactly. I also would highly recommend programming whatever AI devices you have in your house to be able to play them and start them as soon as that time starts, as in like hey, Betty, play my 45 minute playlist.
Speaker 2:That's cool.
Speaker 1:Notice. I'm saying Betty, because I do have those devices in my house and I don't want it to trigger mine or anyone else's, so that's why I'm calling it Betty.
Speaker 1:Hilarious. Okay, from Broken Penzels with a Z. I take away all my decisions as much as I can. Breakfast is planned, mine is ready to go because I eat at work, I have my outfit picked and then when I wake up, I have time to stretch and do something I love for 10 minutes Word games, geography quiz something that makes me happy. I love the idea of taking away all your decisions in the morning by preparing them the night before. I'm a night before person, so just saying that this person also said I like to prep the night before by wiping down my kitchen and starting the dishwasher, so my morning cup of coffee isn't stressful and cluttered.
Speaker 2:I agree. I agree. I hate it when I come downstairs and the living room is a wreck and the kitchen is a mess.
Speaker 1:That doom pile of crap on my counter.
Speaker 2:We are lots of throw blankets people. Our coffee table has storage and it's just full of blankets, but the deal is like I want them folded and put away after the evening and my children are children and sometimes that just doesn't happen. Yeah, so I'll come downstairs and there's like 19 blankets all over the couch and pillows are everywhere. I'm like but yeah, if you take a five minute, tidy everything away the night before and I come downstairs and the house is tidy, it feels great.
Speaker 1:It feels really good this one severalemergency26. I'm not a morning person and it takes me a while to adjust to bright lights and noise, so while I'm getting ready for work, I light a candle and use low lighting in the bathroom along with playing a chill piano music station. It's a much more peaceful way to start the day. That I thought was very, very helpful this person. I like to shower in the dark too.
Speaker 1:Showering in the dark feels good. Why, I don't know why, but it does, I love it. Yeah, I don't need to see anything.
Speaker 2:I got a headlamp because I miss spots when I'm shaving my legs. Stop it, and he's like.
Speaker 1:I got you a waterproof headlamp so you can still shower in the dark but when it's time for you to shave your legs, you can get all of the hair. This is marriage, folks. This person Eel the Boat. Hi, I have a baby. So a bit different, but I like our routine. We're up at seven. Nappy change I love nappy. Why didn't nappy catch on in the States? Nappy change and feed. Go downstairs. She sits in the bouncer and watches me empty the dishwasher and clean some bits in the kitchen, make my breakfast and coffee. I love this time to clean while she happily watches. It gets us off to a good start. I feel like cleaning the kitchen in the morning cleans my head. It's just something about like tidying just feels good for a lot of people and I love that.
Speaker 2:she's like there's a baby here with her baby, I know like, but like but my morning when I have a baby was like, okay, try and figure out what time of day it is Right and what day of the week um, make sure my shirt is pulled down because I'm nursing right. Feel around in the kitchen to see if I can find an empty mug and fill it with coffee, right?
Speaker 1:plead with the, with the great spaghetti monster, to give me more sleep and, uh, and hope the baby's not screaming. Okay, okay, I liked this one a lot. Easy Platform 6963 wrote. Shower before screens has been my mantra for the new year. What? Why is that one so great? I love that one Love.
Speaker 2:I want this for my entire family shower before screens.
Speaker 1:What an interesting, amazing way to start your day that you've done all the self-care hygiene things before even considering picking up your phone. I love that yeah, I think it's great. And then this is my last one. This is from super g j I. I hope that's how you say it um, I don't think it matters whatever I don't, I'm just giving credit where credit is due, okay, no, that's what I'm saying, is you?
Speaker 2:just read the name out loud.
Speaker 1:If we said it wrong, they'll correct us they're not listening um achieve a win of any form. It could be either mental, physical or spiritual. Make the bed Some sort of win for yourself, something that helps you feel accomplished that early in the day. Well, and name it right.
Speaker 2:Yes, here's my win this morning.
Speaker 1:And that can be your affirmation. Here's my win this morning. Why not? Who else? It's like when you write on your to-do list something you've already done and you cross it off. It feels good.
Speaker 2:My mom always starts her list with make a list as soon as you finish a list.
Speaker 1:You get to cross it off. That's amazing, hilarious and amazing. I love it. Okay, so that was more than 20 something tips. I'm going to list all these out on the blog so, if you want to, you can take them, copy and paste them, add them to a checklist. I don't know what you want to do with them, but they'll all be on the blog post for this episode, so go check it out there, and I'll also post the link to the original post so that you guys can take a look at it on the Reddit thread and get more ideas. Speaker 2:The best part of waking up is Caitlin in your cup.
Speaker 1:You are not drinking me, I am Nevermind. There's something inappropriate that I could say right there, but I'm just going to say I'm better than Folgers.
Speaker 2:Wow. That's amazing, so good. Okay, you are not drinking me, okay. So let me talk about what I am drinking. Lately, and it was an accident, so we spent a lot of time talking about coffee in the morning. It's a big part of my day, yes, um, and we use the um grocery order tool okay, yes, I love, sure, every once in a while we'll run in and like, grab something that's I don't tell. I'm not like, oh, I never go in the grocery store like that's not it.
Speaker 2:But we, I order for the week at a time, mostly because I'll buy less if I do the curbside order, because then I'm just, I'm not in the store, I'm not seeing things, I'm not throwing things in the cart Right, and I take a better advantage of what's on sale, because I start by going through the flyer and say like, oh, we can have this because it's on sale. Okay, so anyhow, we needed coffee beans, and the last time that we needed coffee beans they subbed them with decaf. No, and not. Okay. You know, they send you a text like hey, we had to make some substitutions. I was like x, no, no, no no, no, we don't.
Speaker 1:Who would do that to someone? We don't put that poison in our house.
Speaker 2:So anyhow, I marked the next time do not sub with decaf.
Speaker 1:Who would Like? Why would that?
Speaker 2:ever be okay. I don't know who did that. I don't know who did that. I guess the bag looked the same and they're like, oh, this is the same stuff they want the flavor.
Speaker 1:They don't want the caffeine.
Speaker 2:No, I'm like guys no, I need the drug Right. I said do not sub with decaf. Well, they did substitute it, but it wasn't decaf, so I was like it's fine.
Speaker 1:It's fine.
Speaker 2:It's just another kind of bean. I'm okay with it. What I didn't see was that they subbed it with espresso roast.
Speaker 1:Okay, you do not need espresso and John and.
Speaker 2:I have been drinking full size mugs of espresso for a week, full-size mugs of espresso for a week. It is my first week back to school when we are recording this after the holidays, so it's been fine, because I, because you need it, I need it, so it's been great. I'm like, oh, this has been back to school, it's been so easy. I'm kind of tired in the afternoons, but that's fine. In the morning I'm good. Oh good, yeah Well, and John's been having a cup in the afternoon like he normally does, oh no. And not being able to go to sleep at night, oh, okay. When we refilled the hopper, he looked at the bag and he was like Jen, we've been drinking tumblers of espresso.
Speaker 1:Oh, that's literally the last thing you need you, oh, that's literally the last thing you need. You do not need tumblers of espresso, right, right, isn't that funny, don't did I tell you? So my dad, my dad is a stickler for a deal. I think everyone's dad is a stickler for a deal, right? And then if they get the deal, they'll tell you, like, I only paid this much money for it, for the entire existence of the product, right? So my dad somehow, through, like his years of service at his job, where they gave him some sort of monetary bonus and discount codes, managed to get a breville, those, those high-end coffee machines. Um, he had like four cups of espresso in the morning and was like my mom goes, he's bouncing, like he's my dad already like has ADHD and is like a very active person and he's like vibrating, like okay. So that's my dad drinking four of those. I'm thinking about you and John having your mug in the morning and a tumbler of it, right? Oh, y'all, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 2:So we've been cutting it of it, right, oh y'all, no, no, no, no. So we've been cutting it with water, yeah, because like it's still coffee, right. So we're now drinking Americanos. We're so fancy, but really like, for the first three or four days this week I was like man, I'm feeling good, back to school, everything's oh wait.
Speaker 1:I've been drinking espresso by the tumbler uh, my heartbeat is that of a hummingbird right now, but that's okay, I'm fine, it's all great, oh man, okay. Well, mine is my sister's new kitten. So first of all, I have sisters who have these most adorable pets. My sister's dog name is nokie, like the pasta that's a great name for a dog and he's like an italian water dog or something like that. He's really, really cute and he has like curly little hair. He's adorable. My other sister just got a new baby eight-week-old scottish fold kitten.
Speaker 2:I don't even know what that is.
Speaker 1:It's the kind of kitten that has the ears that are folded down and he always looks sad, like he just has like this little like, like, like sad eye expression. I'm obsessed.
Speaker 1:My entire sister chat on my phone is just like pictures of cats pictures of cats and pictures of puppy, and I'm obsessed with all of it. I'm like what is the kitten's name? So she hasn't settled on a name yet. We thought it was was going to be Larry, as in Larry David, because old man names suit this creature. Oh yeah, that's lovely. Then we thought about Frank. Okay, she wanted to end with an E. I kind of thought the name Monkey would be really cute because he just looks, I don't know, monkey just made me happy. But it might end up being George, so that she can call him Georgie. Okay, yes, but he needs a little old man name and he's so cute, he's so cute, okay.
Speaker 2:Tell her to like look up famous gangsters Right Like a lot of them have like Tony.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he doesn't feel like a Tony, he feels like a weird. No, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:I would not go. Tony, that's what I'm saying. Look up famous gangsters, because you could probably find one that the whole name could be, you know, frankie the blah, blah, blah.
Speaker 1:And then she can just call him Frankie or whatever. Yeah, you're right, I like that idea. Okay, what about gems?
Speaker 2:Okay so my sister is also an assistant principal at a middle school. Amazing, it's really funny. Our careers are so similar. We taught together for five years. She went off and became a principal before me. But, like we, we really do have a lot of parallels in our teaching lives. And so she texted me on my birthday and said happy birthday. And at our school we have a rule that if it's your birthday you don't have lunch duty. So I hope that you had a duty free day.
Speaker 1:Nice, I like that and.
Speaker 2:I texted her back and said it was actually better than not having duty because the weather was so mucky. And said it was actually better than not having duty because the weather was so mucky. We had indoor recess and I got to run trivia for a prize that the kids all want the privilege to wear sweatpants. Yes, trivia for sweatpants. Instead of having the lunch period off, I got to be the center of attention perfect.
Speaker 1:That's exactly what you wanted for your birthday.
Speaker 2:That's exactly what I wanted, and my rock star husband sent me flowers during lunch, so the receptionist brought them down to the cafeteria and presented them to me in front of all the students.
Speaker 1:It was great. Did they sing happy birthday or like cheer or anything they did?
Speaker 2:They sang happy birthday to me on three separate occasions during the day. I love it it was wonderful, but it was too funny Like oh, I had even better than off.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's amazing. I got to be the host for the evening, right, okay, well, I'll make Trivia for sweatpants.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I like it.
Speaker 1:Walking to middle school in a uniform. Uh, everybody move your feet and feeling naughty. That's not the words, that's how my son sings it. That's hilarious. So if you haven't heard, move your feet by junior, senior in a while there you go. That's not the right way. You're better off listening to the version in trolls.
Speaker 2:So whatever, Anyway that's it.
Speaker 1:Y'all set your alarm back five minutes. Make some good choices, take care of yourself. Yeah, that's. I don't have anything else to say. We'll see you later. Bye.
